4 hospitals and 26 health centres are ready for hajj pilgrims to be served

MINA — as the preparations of hajj are on its peak so, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has announced that 4 hospitals and 26 health centers are ready to be served to pilgrims in Mina during this Hajj season.

Mina has 5 hospitals which includes Emergency Hospital with a capacity of 190 beds including 12 beds for emergency and 34 beds for intensive care, Mina Al-Jisr Hospital with a capacity of 150 beds, 36 of which were allocated for emergency cases and 28 beds for intensive care, while the bed capacity in Mina Al-Wadi Hospital is 160 with 24 emergency beds and 25 intensive care beds. The new Mina Street Hospital has a capacity of 50 beds, including 13 emergency beds and 16 intensive care beds.

The ministry also clarified the medical facilities going to be provided on holy sites would be all preventive, curative and emergency care to the pilgrims through specialized and qualified cadres using modern technology and advanced medical equipment. the health facilities also involves the ambulance transport, consisting of 100 small ambulances and 75 large ambulances, to handle any emergency cases.

here it also explains the health and medical facilites to be provided in madinah too which is seeming too good like it provided more than 37,000 medical services for pilgrims pre-Hajj, in addition to awareness services at the entry and departure ports.

21 cardiac catheterization operations, 67 dialysis sessions, 31,205 vaccinations, 27 field awareness tours to follow up the provision of health services in seasonal health centers and facilities, 68 electronic awareness bulletins for pilgrims in several languages are also provided under madinah health facilities. The services were also provided at arrival and departure ports in Madinah region from which 38073 pilgrims were benefitted from that awareness services.
